July Recap

This month has flown by quickly, but it has been filled with key events and interesting memories that I want to document before my upcoming trip.

The month started with one of the final races leading up to my half marathon. I traveled to another city to participate in a 10k competition. I felt confident heading into this race because I had trained hard enough to run it without any complications. Although it was a new experience, it wasn't my first time running in a different location; I had successfully completed the same distance a year ago. This time, I finished the race in under 50 minutes, which was a significant milestone for me, especially considering the race took place at an altitude of nearly 2,800 meters above sea level.

Over the past few weeks, we finally purchased our plane tickets to our destination. After several days of planning, we created a solid travel itinerary that includes visits to some great places, with one of our last stops being a reunion with my old college friends.

In terms of my professional career, I recently marked 10 months at my current job. Time has flown by, and I am amazed at everything I've accomplished during this period. It has been a valuable experience, even though I have faced various challenges. I am now considering a professional change in the future, but for now, I will let time take its course.

During the past month, I have been exercising regularly with my mom. Although this process can be challenging for her, I have tried to show her the benefits of staying active and taking care of her health. Going to the gym together has been both fun and inspiring.

At this point, I will take a break from the gym to focus on improving my running and conditioning in preparation for the race day. I am confident that I can complete the 21k.

Now, it’s time to pack and prepare for another adventure!
