May Review

I almost forgot to write about what happened last month, so here's a brief review of my experiences and expectations for the upcoming month.

During the past month, I have been applying for other jobs and recently started considering the possibility of having two jobs. Although my current job has improved—especially since the workload has been well-distributed and it’s not as stressful—I have decided to continue working at my current company for now. By the way, I’ve now been there for 8 months.

I also renewed my passport. Last month, I was busy planning a road trip to Argentina and preparing all the necessary documents. Additionally, I bought new shoes for training.

I received some concerning news regarding my health. Although I have been feeling relatively well, in my last medical check-up, my doctor diagnosed a condition in my private parts. In the past few weeks, I underwent several medical exams, including blood tests and imaging studies. Unfortunately, I learned that I will need surgery to address the condition.

I spent more time with my family, though it has been kind of difficult to coordinate work schedules. We were able to celebrate our grandma's 75th birthday. As I’ve mentioned in other posts, she has been one of the most important people in my life, so spending quality time with her was truly healing.

I purchased a new musical instrument, although it wasn't for me. I bought a ukulele for my nephew, hoping to spark his interest in this new and exciting world of music. This marks the second instrument I’ve bought since I acquired my electric guitar in 2019. The ukulele sounds amazing and has a charming tone. It wasn't too complicated to learn.

Speaking of new purchases, last month I also bought new glasses, which was a great decision. Since I spend a lot of time working in front of a monitor, my eyes were suffering from the blue light emitted by screens. Now, with the new lenses, my vision has improved significantly.

Overall, last month has been a good one. My family is doing well, and although there have been some problems and concerns at home, we have enough food and necessities to get by, thanks to God.

In special mentions: last month, a beloved dog named Firulais passed away. He had lived with my grandma for more than six years and was a great guardian and friend.
