Christmas is coming 🎄 🎁




As the year comes to an end, the December and Christmas holidays are approaching quickly. In my home, we have already decorated the house with lights and ornaments, making it look festive. It seems like we were the first ones in the neighbourhood to put up decorations this year. However, we decided to keep it simple and put only a few things here and there.


The upcoming weeks are my favourite time of year, not just because it marks the end of the year but because homes, streets, and parks start to become decorated. The environment transforms into a colourful display at night, and my family plans the Christmas dinner.


A few years ago, my college was beautifully decorated with lights and ornaments, creating an amazing atmosphere. Especially at night when the lights were turned on. It was a cosy and pleasant experience to see the entire place adorned with decorations.


Last year during Christmas, it was a wonderful time to reunite with family and friends who travelled from different parts of the world. I had the opportunity to enjoy a few dinners with my closest friends who live abroad, as well as many family members who I only get to see during Christmas events.


 Although I love this city and its traditions, I have thought about living abroad the next year, after my post-birthday celebrations. I have promised myself that I need to explore the world and gain new perspectives. This year has been more challenging than I anticipated, but the best season of all is finally approaching.

Another trip twelve years later

It has been a while since I finished high school, those were some of the best moments I have ever lived, my high school had a vast surface extension, many buildings and sections, and many classrooms crowded with hundreds of students. There, I studied for almost six years, I met good friends, some love and splendid moments that bring me a smile each time I recall. I never thought I missed my time there, when I was a teenager I swore I'd never turn back my sight to that place, now twelve years later I come back to the place that built me as a person. Prioritizing my to-do list

Since I started to document and follow my routine, endless things undone have reminded me that I need to make them time because they are also important. This feeling generates a guilty sentiment and anxiety for not giving them enough attention. But how do I prioritize among many significant things? Doing exercise is important, eating healthy too, studying and applying for jobs are equally important, but what receives more attention? what is not essential?
