Buying a new electric guitar, this is what you must know. 🎸

Purchasing an instrument can be arduous, especially if you have many years of playing it and you know about its features, pros and cons. Through the years, I have seen different guitars, and I had the luck of playing some of them; each guitar sounds different and depending on the model and the cost, the sensation when you are playing changes.

The guitar's materials are crucial to acquiring its sound; depending on this, the instrument will rise or drop its value. The costs can change depending on models and marks; the most expensive are made from good-quality materials, but overall, it depends on the brand.

Different guitar brands worldwide, such as Gibson, Fender, Yamaha, PRS, and Jackson,  are the most popular among guitarists; these companies created the most valuable guitars in history.

Another factor to be considered is the genre of music you want to play; for most guitarists, the most versatile guitar ever made is the Stratocaster; their sound and hardware simplicity make this guitar sound perfect for most genres nowadays.

On the other hand, guitars like Gibson Les Paul, and SG were first designed for jazz guitarists, but that changed when in the 70s, most rock bands started to use them to create the most legendary songs in the history of blues and hard rock. Guitar brands like Jackson, Ibanez and Kramer are preferred by heavy metal artists due to their versatility and robust electronic inside them.

Depending on your budget and the facts I mentioned, the new instrument you purchase will join you for a long time. So, choose wisely.
