Last weekend the Ecuadorian football team Independiente del Valle overcame their Brazilian counterpart, Sao Paulo, after a tough match. 


The Ecuadorian club defeated 2 - 0 with a tremendous second goal in the second half of the game, winning the Sudamericana Cup. This tournament disputes great rivals from different parts of Latin America.


This new trophy reached allowed the club to earn 9 million dollars since they started the tournament. It was the second time the club won the Sudamericana Cup; the previous was in 2019 when they defeated Colon de Santa Fe.


Only two clubs won an international tournament; the first was Liga de Quito, who in 2008 won the Libertadores Cup. But this is the first time in Ecuadorian football in which a club has won the Sudamericana two times.


Independiente del Valle has been recognized as a specialized football club that prepares soccer players and their formatives t a competitive level. The young club has been the previous champion of their domestic league.


Nowadays, the club is considered one of the most ambitious projects in the country and one respected rival in the continent, leaving behind big Ecuadorian clubs with many years of history and more budget than they have.

Another trip twelve years later

It has been a while since I finished high school, those were some of the best moments I have ever lived, my high school had a vast surface extension, many buildings and sections, and many classrooms crowded with hundreds of students. Prioritizing my to-do list

Since I started to document and follow my routine, endless things undone have reminded me that I need to make them time because they are also important. This feeling generates a guilty sentiment and anxiety for not giving them enough attention. But how do I prioritize among many significant things?
