Wedding day (Pt.1) 🤵🏻👰🏻💒
August 27th will be remembered as the most significant day in my family life; that day was my sister's wedding day and her husband's. The event was planned with months of anticipation and with all efforts by my brother-in-law's family.
The preparations were supervised for several weeks and even months; a wedding can only occur one day in your life, and this occasion was special because all family and friends were invited to celebrate this event.
With the passing of the days, guests started arriving in order to attend on time. In addition, many relatives from diverse parts of the country, more intimate friends, and some other people closer to family were come and travelled the previous days.
When the great day came on, all the family were gathered and located at the church, waiting for the beautiful bride, hours before we had dressed our clothes and helped my sister. The photographer took the last photos before the cathedral entrance, portraying the family and immortalizing those moments.
Once the photos were taken, we had to wait at the doors to the cathedral and remain at the song's entrance to the begin of the ceremony. Then, when the music began, I had to walk, taking her bride's arm to the altar. Then, we walked towards the fiance one more time at the look of all guests (I could see many familiar faces, friends, and relatives gathered to be witnesses of that moment.). It was one of my favourite moments of that day and one of the happiest and closest moments I ever lived with my sister.
At the end of the ceremony, the couple had to walk to the cathedral's door, and at the end of the path, a bubbling waterfall gave the welcome. And, extempore, a local band started to play music, and some guests were dancing and congratulating the new spouse's couple.
