Mid-yearπŸ—“️ expectations vs realities ❌✅πŸ“ƒ

We have crossed the line of the mid-year, and as I mentioned before, I'm going to take a short review of my year, the pros and cons of my changing process, things I must improve and how to pursue my objectives (or at least try not to surrender).

Many of us have planned or fixed new purposes for this year; after hard pandemic months and many backs and forths, we finally have decided to put our lives in the correct direction. But, this process will not be easy; if you, like me, have scheduled your goals, we have probably found in the mid of unknowledge and adrift of the objectives.

I remember making a long list in January of this year, entirely on objectives and goals, but now I realize many of them perhaps I'm not going to reach. Because time is limited, and we have a range of options and distractions that make us miss our compass, I have done many things on this list that I am proud of.

Last year, I remember I suffered insomnia and pain back. One of the best changes was deciding to do more exercise; I barely stayed active the previous year. This following with a lousy diet last year was painful to my body.

Learning English was another critical goal that I focused on this year, and consistency is given its fruits. I practised my English for at least one hour every day to maintain my gains and reach my objectives.

Overthinking is one of the problems I had to resolve with urgency. Constantly, I've been struggling with this, but now I have to say I focus on the present rather than being concerned about my past faults.

Finding a job was another priority; despite the current situation, I found a part job in February, and for a couple of months, I worked and produced at least a couple of dollars. But this purpose is still pending, and I constantly search for new incomes and jobs.

Travelling is pending that I'd like to do this year; I want to travel somewhere and enjoy the journey. Winning a scholarship abroad and continuing with my studies is another goal I still want to reach. Spending much time on social networks is another bad habit I remain conserve, but with lower frequency, I have to say.

There are many things and goals fo my list that I wish to advance and do, but until now, I focused on the things I reached, and I promise to attempt to do most of the things I plan to do this year. The way is long...
