Perfectionism is the enemy of happiness π
Since I've struggled with several problems with anxiety and stress, I have realized that one of the key factors contributing to worse this conduct was my obstinacy sense of doing everything 'perfect'. I had the wrong idea that I could do all my purposes before the time and without no errors.
These thoughts gave me more problems than solutions, I started to fantasize about a perfect reality, I was a dreamer who thoughted everything could be solved with maximum effort. Again, I was wrong, In fact, the time when I was at college I didn't enjoy it at all because for this reason, carry on me all these hard weights on my shoulders trying to highlight to the rest of the people.
Even when I was doing other activities that idea started to round my head, with all thoughts related to anxiety. In those times, I had to maintain a scholarship that supposes I had to have better notes and do projects. I did it all, but what it was the cost that I had to pay for it.
Perfectionism can be an obstacle instead of a tool to improve yourself if you are concentrated on doing all right and without errors rather than enjoying the things you love, at the long way it can result in overwhelming and frustration.
Procure to balance your life profession and hobbies, instead of only focusing on one isolated thing, remember that you are the sum of your success and failures, these seconds can result to be better teachers than the first.
And by the end, your success is not determined by only your career, so relax and let the things come to time. Go out to run, find inspiration in nature, practice respect and be resilient.
