I have a better life than yours (and the problem with social media) 🦹🏻🥇🪙

April gives us a warm welcome with a gorgeous Friday, everyone expects this last day to go out with friends and have a good time doing nothing but enjoying. As usual, every time that I open my Instagram account I see dozens of histories published on my feed, usually I skipped out that "news" but when I open someone of my friends, I always have noticed one common fact: the necessity of showing to the world our perfect and well-balanced lives.

Everyone tries to highlight and spotlight as they competed to show who has the better lifestyle or the funniest weekend. I suppose that I am doing old and maybe I see life from the other side of the street, but it's inevitable to see that fact.

We live in an era that the social media is dominating our lives and everyone has a smartphone to show us their most valuable things like whether were a necessity or maybe a mandatory thing every time that they go out of their routines.

I don't have a perfect life, absolutely not, but I try to maintain my "personal life" keeping safe or sharing the less important things, meanwhile less I share, the better for me.

So if you are feeling bad or overwhelmed about the perfect lives of your friends, remember that sometimes they only share the things that they lacked. So feel happy about your own life and don't try to compare to others.

And to the bottom line, if you are struggling with problems and some types of depression just remember one phrase: "All things must pass". Try to keep out of social networks and enjoy the surrounding good things that I am sure that you have.
