8 years since I learned to play guitar .πΈπ¦π»π₯
8 years have been passed since I decided for the first time to learn to play guitar. When I took my first class of guitar I didn't have an idea of what complicated but satisfactory this been.
I started with a three-group of major chords, haha I remember this as if it were yesterday. The figures of C-G-F reflected into the board while I was thinking 'Yes, I can do this!'. My fingers were tangled and rigid the next day and were inflamed too. In my home, an old and tiny Spanish nylon-chord guitar was laying in the room of my little sister, I decided to practice with it, it was my only instrument until I buy my electric guitar in 2019 (5 years later since I started to learn guitar).
I only assisted one month of these classes, but the idea of playing guitar in a near future was rounded my head and it was a dream that I didn't could pass.
One of my near and best friends played the guitar for many years before me. In fact, he was my inspiration to start my self-learning in this instrument. He encourages me to continue playing and learning more and more. I remember the nights when I went to his house and we stay here many hours even a long time in the evening. I tried to follow his rhythm but it was in vain. He always was a fantastic musician!
The weeks came past, and I continued discovering more and more chords, notes, melodies, artists. I was fascinated by the sounds and chords progressions rounded my ears and I felt excited when the lines of the guitar sounded.
I learned a lot with books and resources on the internet, watching videos on Youtube, and following the sheets of the music that I wanted to learn. The practice makes master, is the popular omen, and this is true. Meanwhile, with more practice and listening to the music that you want to practice, more will be your progress. But, try to not compare yourself with others. Your path will be rounded with a lot of experiences some of them bothersome but necessary, learn about your faults, and listen to the advice from other guitarists.
I encourage you to try and practice playing a musical instrument and discover the world behind the art. You will realize that it is a good hobby.
