10 things that I'd had wanted to know in my 18s ππ
Almost ten years have passed since I finished high school π«π️, and still, I can remember all of those things that my head was thinking over and over again my insecurities and problems.
I didn't have someone to explain my problems or tell me about my insecurities, and nobody who can advise me over the things that happen when you are growing and facing new ages of your life.
So, If you are in yours 18s or not, this is a list of things, that I'd had wanted to know in my 18s, that I think you can use and follow it. π
1. Avoid discussing. You don't know that, but if you have always the reason or not, treat to avoid unnecessary discussions, this avoid you any conflict or problem in the future. The best thing that you can do is let it pass.
2. Ask for forgiveness and apologies. the best way to avoid resentment and hate is by apologizing to the other person if you have or don't the fault. When you accept your failures you recognize your debilities and calm the ambient.
3. Is not necessary to know everything. Always will have people who have more experience than ours, this is not necessarily a bad thing, you always can ask for help, and know new things every day.
4. Living the present. Let the past behind, new days are coming and a better "you" is yet to be discovered, if you always bear the weight of your problems this does not allow you to go-ahead
5. Do not overthink. when you face a problem and don't have an idea to resolve it, take a break, your brain will thank you.
6. Let the things happen. Don't force the things to occur on you, instead, let the things flow naturally. You will discover that things happen or not for a reason.
7. Don't push yourself towards perfection. you can frustrate and surrender if you continually search the "perfection". You're a human being, is normal to take one day or two to resolve the problems.
8. Your body is your best partner (care about it). Love your body means to care about it, don't forget it, when you have a healthy body you will have a healthy brain.
9. Accept and embrace failure. Every step that you can do, is in a certain way, destined for failure. you will find several difficulties in your path. So you can accept the idea that this can happen and approach it. The failures teach us how can we improve and grow, is a wise master in our lives.
10. Enjoy the path. You only live once. πΆπ»
