Building a brand ©️🖥️

For the past month, I have been looking for ideas that make me visible in engineering. I noticed I couldn't prove my work and my overall experience. I couldn't show what I did during my last jobs.

So, I started to build a personal brand and make some changes to my portfolio and digital networks. The first step was creating a digital brand where I could put my last jobs and projects, this way all people could see my abilities.

Creating a brand is not an easy task, I needed to think about a name and started to upload my p[previous works there. Ultimately, it would be a great space where I could put all my progress during these times.

The next step was modifying my current network. I had my LinkedIn account for several years, but I never put much effort into trying to make it more engaging and agreeable to job recruiters. I modified my bio, and my profile photo, and added my last experience as a freelance entrepreneur.

Then I started to upload content on my social networks. In the beginning, I wasn't sure If I was doing right, during all of this time I was a consumer instead of a creator, so I didn't have the experience to create good digital content, but over time I was improving my posts and my engagement was growing.

Now, I am aware all I was doing previously was useless, I relied on the old method, I only added experience and applied but did not show my job. Gross error.

Currently, I am working on this method to see If this will give me results, the metrics showed me I am creating more views on my profile and people and recruiters started to notice my profile among other users.
