My history with Football (Soccer) 🥅⚽

 Many years ago, when I was 11 years old I was starting to view the footfall matches from another perspective, when I was younger soccer didn't interest me at all, my father and family often were talking about soccer players and teams, but barely I paid attention.


But since the 2006 world cup was disputed in Germany, my tough respect for football was changed. In that World Cup my country there was classified and surprisingly there was passed to the next round. Since there my passion for football was changed forever.


I used to follow all the teams and soccer players that were playing in that world cup. In fact, the final match of that event had seen the first final of that event that I can remember. My parents were enthusiastic about that, so they decided to inscribe me to a soccer camp.


My first days were really tough, I had to play with other children older than me, physically I was at disadvantage, they were taller, ran faster, and played better than me.


Then years later, when I was in high school, I and my friends used to play soccer once or twice every week, which helps me a lot because I was a nervous person and that helps me to improve my confidence when I was playing with them.


I remember a few matches in which I and my friends played, which were really tough games, in my last year at high school I mixed the gym days with my soccer matches, which really would improve my physical condition.


But then, when I was at college, rarely did I play a match, There will be been a few matches that I could remember but most time I didn't play anymore. When finally I finish college, was when I started to play again, with some friends, and a few unknown people.


Another memories that I have, are in the stadium in my city, there were a lot of moments when I went to see the local team, some matches were disputed against international teams like Sao Paulo from Brazil or River Plate from Argentina. But, sadly our local team disappear and the stadium looks empty nowadays.

So, when someone describes soccer as only another sport, I would say that that is wrong, soccer involves a lot of passions, emotions, histories, and many other things beyond the sport.

Another trip twelve years later

It has been a while since I finished high school, those were some of the best moments I have ever lived, my high school had a vast surface extension, many buildings and sections, and many classrooms crowded with hundreds of students. There, I studied for almost six years, I met good friends, some love and splendid moments that bring me a smile each time I recall. I never thought I missed my time there, when I was a teenager I swore I'd never turn back my sight to that place, now twelve years later I come back to the place that built me as a person. Last weekend, I had to work as an assistant for the referendum election in my country, as the last time I worked in the same position, I already knew what that job meant. Prioritizing my to-do list

Since I started to document and follow my routine, endless things undone have reminded me that I need to make them time because they are also important. This feeling generates a guilty sentiment and anxiety for not giving them enough attention. But how do I prioritize among many significant things? Doing exercise is important, eating healthy too, studying and applying for jobs are equally important, but what receives more attention? what is not essential? This situation of deciding what requires more attention has put me in a challenging situation. Do I need to sacrifice my exercise routine to study more? What if I focus only on one thing at a time?
